THE National Human Resources
Development and Employment (TANMIA) of United Arab
Emirates recently honoured Al Habtoor Motors for
its efforts towards keeping national interests
while setting its business goals. Al Habtoor
Motors has been focusing on Emiratisation as one
of its chief goals and has continued to encourage
the UAE nationals in taking up responsible
positions in its various business initiatives.
"This patriotic spirit is indeed praise-worthy
since investment in the national human resources
contributes significantly to the welfare of our
country." said Dr. Ali Bin Abdulla Al-Kaabi,
Ministry of Labour, Chairman Board of Trustees, in
a special letter of appreciation sent to Al
Habtoor Motors.
Commenting on this special honour, Ahmed Al
Habtoor, CEO of Al Habtoor Motors said "We are
indeed happy that our Emiratisation efforts have
been appreciated by the Ministry. This honor
encourages us to be even more responsible towards
our fellow countrymen and we will continue to
nurture and encourage
local talents within our company".
Dr. Ali Bin Abdulla Al-Kaabi said that, "We noted
with great satisfaction that Al Habtoor Motors has
demonstrated willingness to realize Tanmia's
objective towards providing employment
opportunities for UAE Nationals in the Trade
Sector, and has achieved the prescribed quota for
the year 2006 pursuant to the agreed criteria.
This achievement demonstrates a strong commitment
to this national objective."
