Family members, friends
and EIS staff gathered at Emirates International School
Auditorium to honor the graduates of the Class of 2004.
This very auspicious ceremony took place on Wednesday,
June 2nd at 11 am. Seventy seven students received
diplomas. Graduates represented over 30 different
nations around the world, a group of truly global
citizens.
Emirates International
School was established in 1991. This year's graduation
class marks the 11th year of the full diploma
graduation. The rigorous of I.G.C.S.E. and I.B.
curricula have made this school a very popular choice
among parents as well as students. The high academic
standards of the I.B. program require each student to
sit for external examinations in six different content
areas. The marks of this class are expected to be
exceptionally high! Besides the academic requirements,
students were required to fulfill a community service
component. All did so, receiving a great deal of heart
felt thanks from community organizations.
The Graduating Class of
2004 is distinguished with many outstanding students.
Most all graduates will be attending universities of
higher learning at many different locations around the
world.
This year's student class
speaker was Zuhaib Khan. The Arabic speech was delivered
by Eman Al Sayegh.
Mr. Khalaf Al Habtoor,
Chairman, and other members of the EIS Board offered
their congratulations to the Emirates International
School Graduation Class of 2004.
