This use of America's 'Israeli Department' goes back to the days when the US needed to contain and counter Russian backed Arab governments,
who were disengaging themselves from the old colonial powers. Later it was used as a bulwark against Russian influence in the region and to stem violent Arab protest against American foreign policy.
Like all other Government departments the 'Israeli Department' is allocated funds, these take the form of a five billion dollar budget paid annually disguised as aid. It is also supplied with vast amounts of
equipment both military and technical. As if this was not enough, it is also given other bonuses and incentives under the labels of soft loans and subsidies, which like every other American government
department is paid for by the American taxpayer.
It is transparently clear that while the American administration may have changed, all stays the same with American policy. It continues to protect and
serve US interests in the Middle East. It still perpetuates violence against the civilian populations of the West Bank and Gaza, while at the same time labeling Arabs terrorists. This, and the continuation
of sanctions against the innocent people of Iraq and its proposal to move the American Embassy to Al Quds, shows that as far as American is concerned it is 'business as usual'. So please do not
suffer any illusions that American foreign policy in the Middle East will change any time soon. For as long as America is able to use its tried and tested foreign policy tool, Israel, to enforce its regional
strategy, it will continue to pay it massive amounts of American tax dollars, so that it can continue to pursue its own agenda in the region.
This massive funding ensures that America can, through its
'Israeli department', check what it perceives as threats to its security and foreign policy objectives from Arab states or anyone else in the region foolish enough to challenge it.
Let us not be
afraid to say that America is quite happy to use this secret Government department to provoke fear and anger among Arab States. So long as there is no peace in the region, America will be happy. While
conflict and uncertainty continue in the region, America will prosper. Selling massive amounts of defence equipment to all those Arab countries that feel threatened by it. Little realising that Israel is
really just an extension of American power This ignorance and uncertainty suits the American defence industry well for while it protects its energy interests and at the same time maintains its markets for
its goods and services.
So don't be fooled, every time you see the words ' an Independent Israel' read: 'Made in America, crafted and approved by the US government'.
Their goal is to destabilise and undermine the Arab States, by sowing division among them as they
closely follow the old British political maxim "divide and rule" |
