Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor was one of the main panellists at the 4th Dubai International Project Management Forum in November. The event, held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council, is a collaboration by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), Emaar Properties, DP World, and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Al Habtoor was joined on the panel titled ‘Managing Development Project’ by His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director & CEO, DEWA, His Excellency Frode Mauring, Resident Coordinator, United Nations (UNDP). The session was moderated by Dr. Khaled Hamdy, Projects Advisor to the Director General, RTA.
The theme of this year’s conference, which drew in more than 1,500 participants, was ‘Making A Difference.’ The conference covered important Project Management themes including the future of Project Management, Expo 2020 projects, and Emergency/Crisis Management.
