Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor held talks with His Excellency Husin Bagis, Indonesian Ambassador at the Al Habtoor Group head office on Wednesday 10 August 2016. It was the first meeting between the Al Habtoor Group Chairman and the Ambassador. The Indonesian delegation included Agus Prayitno, Director of Indonesia Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) Abu Dhabi and Andi Bardiansyah, Deputy Director of IIPC.
His Excellency Bagis came to discuss investment opportunities in Indonesia with Al Habtoor and invited him to visit Mandalika, Lombok which has become an attractive tourist destination in recent years. “As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, we pride ourselves for being one of Emirates Airline’s chosen halal destinations. Currently Indonesia is the largest exporter of UAE oud.”
The Chairman presented the Ambassador with a copy of his best-selling autobiography.
