The first official ceremony of the school year at EIS-Jumeirah was the induction of the student leadership team. The school currently has a team of 15 prefects who are responsible for many areas of student management as well as acting as mentors for students in the lower grades
The Head Boy/Girl and Deputy Head Boy/Girl are selected from the Prefect group via a rigorous selection procedure. The students must be nominated from amongst their peers, deliver a 10 minute leadership philosophy speech, and finally present themselves for panel interview incorporating the Principal, two Deputy Principals and the Dean of Studies for Grades 12 and 13.
Matthieu Bouharmont was appointed Head Boy and Wafaa Junaid was named Head Girl. The Deputy Head Boy is Justin Tan and the Deputy Head Girl is Doriane Bouharmont.
