Good, cheap pizza is not easy to find in Dubai. The choice is extreme. Either cheap and soggy or, good and extremely expensive. The new Don Giovanni Italian restaurant, on Al Diyafah Street, Dubai breaks this tradition. The pizza is in its dough and this is where Giovanni’s manages to get it right. It is hot, fresh and crisp and served uniquely in a clay bowl. The atmosphere is European café-style, meaning a casual, relaxed ambience. We stopped there on the way to a movie, which, we might add, was not as satisfying as the pizza.
