The Al Habtoor Group has appointed Ahmed Al Otaiba as the company’s Director & Member of the Board effective as of January 26, 2014. The position is a new role within the Group’s executive team. Mr. Al Otaiba will work closely with all business units – Al Habtoor Motors, Habtoor Hotels, Diamondlease, Emirates International Schools, Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIRC), Real Estate, and Construction.
He joins the Group after several years of experience with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) in the fields of investment strategies, funds, securities, and he will occupy an important position in running the Group’s strategic operations and enhancing the management expertise.
