Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founding Chairman, Al Habtoor Group put out a video message on his social media platforms praising His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, for launching a new initiative to find the next Arab Hope Maker. Al Habtoor said there is no better role model than HH Sheikh Mohammed, calling him, “The Ultimate Arab Hope Maker”.
In his video message Al Habtoor praised His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for launching the initiative, which aims to reward and recognize individuals and institutions who are active in community service and humanitarian work. The initiative has a AED 1 million cash prize.
“We thank Sheikh Mohammed for this great initiative that will help motivate more people to give and volunteer, especially as this year is the Year of Giving,” he said. Chairman Al Habtoor added, “In our world today, there is no better Hope Maker than Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid… he is a great leader, who creates hope in our lives and our future, and the future of our families on a daily basis, through the initiatives and projects that he launches in Dubai.”
He said Sheikh Mohammed’s innovative ideas help to maintain the position of pioneers in the world, and he gave examples of some of Sheikh Mohammed’s initiatives including Dubai Cares, Noor Dubai, UAE Water Aid, Dubai SME, among others.
Chairman Al Habtoor also praised Sheikh Mohammed’s vision for Dubai and used the newly-opened Dubai Water Canal as an example of progression that has helped shape Dubai into a modern city.
“In every step and every announcement Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid gives us hope in our future and the advancement of our country,” he said. “He is a model of leadership for people around the world to learn from and follow in his footsteps… May God bless Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid with health and long life.
