A new cafe, Cafe Le Jardin, has been opened in Deira. Located next to the Metropolitan Palace Hotel on Maktoum Street the French-style cafe joins Istanbouli, Backstreet Cafe and Pyramid Cafe in an attempt to offer a wide range of high quality cafes and restaurants throughout Dubai. "We are aiming to develop a reputation for quality and outstanding service in all our outlets," said Ned Rafih, food & beverage manager of the outlet. "We are planning to expand the business by offering a wide range of eating establishments that will cater to every taste, but all the cafes will have one thing in common: a high standard of product and service." Originally from Paris, Rafih worked in San Francisco, Paris and Abu Dhabi before coming to Dubai. "Our different cafe's offer everything from salad bars to sheesha, but all at the same high standard," said Rafih.
