Khalaf Al Habtoor is considering investing in the city of Sarajevo after visiting the Bosnian capital in March.
The Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group paid a trip to the city after meeting with the ambassador to the UAE for Bosnia and Herzegovina - His Excellency Radomir Kosic, on March 3.
He arrived in Sarajevo on March 24 and spent one week there, reviewing the local sites and meeting with government representatives, including the Mayor of Sarajevo - Alija Behmen; the Assistant Mayor for local business and development in the city of Sarajevo - Sahrudjn Sarajcic; and the Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo - Igor Kamocaji, to discuss possible business ventures.
Mr Al Habtoor expressed his admiration for the picturesque beauty of the city and its surrounds, which are rich in greenery. He further appreciated the architecture and infrastructure of Sarajevo; and he praised the hospitality of the people.
