Khalaf Al Habtoor welcomed the renowned British journalist Sir David Frost to his English residence in the County of Buckingham, where he hosted a lunch in his honour.
The meeting, which was the first between Mr Al Habtoor, the chairman and founder of the Al Habtoor Group, and Sir David Frost, a well known British braodcaster and the host of the ‘Frost over the World’ TV programme on Al Jazeera TV, took place in the last week of February.
The two men discussed, amongst other topics, the changes that the Arab World is currently witnessing. Frost, who is best known for his serious in-depth interviews with high profile political figures, the most notable being Richard Nixon, expressed his admiration of Mr Al Habtoor’s estate in Flackwell Heath, Buckinghamshire. He was accompanied by his son George Frost on the occasion.
