Al Habtoor Group Chairman, Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, held talks with His Excellency Dominic Jermey, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates on Thursday February 27, 2014. Also present was Paul A Rayner, Advisor to the Chairman and Ahmed Al Otaiba, Director/ Member of the Board.
They discussed collaboration, including support of Help the Heroes and Great Britain Week, (15-20 March 2014). The Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa hosted two days of the event. Great Britain Week presented opportunities for British businesses from retail to infrastructure to trade and looked at how companies can capitalise on opportunities in the UAE, including the Expo 2020.
Al Habtoor said, “Dubai offers multiple opportunities for British businesses; we are developing all sectors of our economy with great success thanks to the vision of our leaders. We are a hub for the region and have an excellent standard of living. It is a great place to invest in. I encourage everyone to invest here.”
HE Dominic Jermey was appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates in April 2010.
