Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Chairman of Al Habtoor Group met with His Excellency, Zoltán Jancsi, Ambassador of Hungary to the United Arab Emirates on Monday, January 27 at the Group’s head office. This is the second meeting for the Chairman and the Hungarian Ambassador since September 2013, shortly after Mr Jancsi’s appointment to the diplomatic role.
The Chairman and His Excellency discussed new potential investments for the Al Habtoor Group in Hungary, mainly in the hospitality sector. The Al Habtoor Group purchased the historic five-star Le Méridien Hotel in central Budapest in May, 2012.
The subject of discussion was also the planned book launch of the ‘Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor – the Autobiography’ in Hungary in spring 2014. The autobiography, which was released late 2012, has been so far launched in the GCC and United Kingdom.
