Just one day after Dubai secured its bid to host Expo 2020, Emirates International School students came out in force to mark the UAE’s national day celebrations. Students at the Jumeirah and Meadows campuses dressed up in the colours of the UAE flag to show their support.

A few days earlier students from EIS-Meadows personally hand delivered an invitation to Mohammed Al Habtoor, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Al Habtoor Group to join in the event.

In addition, Mohammed Al Habtoor, cut the ribbon to officially celebrate the opening of the new Astro Turf on the lawn at EIS-Meadows.

Leonard Murphy, Principal, High School, EIS (Meadows) said, “We are a multi-cultural school, with close to 80 different nationalities, it is a wonderful opportunity for all the students to embrace the culture of the nation.”
